BETWEEN MASS AND VOID
Featuring the work of Paul Granlund and Nicholas Legeros
Thursday, July 7th, 5pm-9pm
Friday, July 8th, 10am-6pm
Saturday, July 9th, 10am-6pm
Join us at our showroom (address below) for a very special show featuring the Sculptures of Paul Granlund and Nicholas Legeros. For much of his career, Granlund was based at Gustavus Adolphus College, where he built his studio and foundry and worked with generations of students as the sculptor-in-residence from 1971-1996. Granlund’s larger commissioned sculptures can be seen at churches, hospitals, colleges and airports around the world. Legeros was a student, friend, and colleague of Granlund. His recent large commissions include “Glamorous Days of Flight” for Northwest Airlines at Centennial Lakes Park in Edina, a statue of Goldy Gopher for Coffman Union, Sid Hartman for the Target Center and a 17’ high statue of St. Joseph for St. Joseph’s Hospital in St. Paul.
We have assembled an impressive collection of a few dozen sculptures by both artists for this show. All pieces are available for purchase. Click here to view all available Paul Granlund sculptures.
Show runs M-F 10am-4pm or by appointment through July 29th at the Hennes Art Company Showroom.
